Fairbanks

T: We took a break from traveling to stay an extra day at the Princess Hotel - very nice - and to visit Museum of the North at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. The museum had good historical, cultural and art exhibits about Alaska. Sometimes you can see Mt. McKinley from the museum but it was too cloudy to see it today. We just trailed through the elegant lobby of the hotel in our exercise clothes with our trash bag of laundry - we only had room for one set of street clothes. Luckily, there is a computer station next to the laundry room so we have something to do while we wait.
