D: We arrived home early this afternoon. It was a nice ride through fertile farm fields along US-136, IL-119, IN-28, and US-52. It was another beautiful day, with a little cloud cover to keep the temperature down. Our total distance for the trip was 8828 miles.
We appreciate the interest of everyone who followed our journey and especially the prayers for safe and enjoyable travel.
It really has been a great trip. Therese was a wonderful traveling companion, patient and supportive, and we will enjoy recalling our many experiences for years to come.
T: I'm so glad I went along with David on his Alaska expedition. I had a lot of anxieties about the trip, but we had smooth sailing for the most part. David is a great tour planner! His skills as a champion obstacle course rider really came in handy on all the construction areas we traveled, too.
